South Central Ambulance Charity Receives £1300 from The Berkshire Motor Show
South Central Ambulance Service and South Central Ambulance Charity were delighted to be invited to attend The Berkshire Motorshow on the 7th July 2019 as the Charity of the Year for the show. During the event we had lots of visitors to our stand where we gave CPR Demos, a tour of an ambulance and the opportunity to sit in an ambulance car.
We were able to give out our Children's Packs which detail what to do in an Emergency, details about different illnesses and seasons. The event was a great opportunity for us to raise the profile of our Charity and talk about what we do.
Last week Ben Westley Community Engagement Officer in Berkshire for SCAS, Ben Cole Deputy Community Engagement Officer and Laura Patrick Communications and Fundraising Officer for South Central Ambulance Charity met with Show organiser Steph Awbery who very kindly presented us with a cheque for £1300.
